I hope everyone braved the “major” snow storm that fell upon the city Wednesday night/Thursday morning. It was my family's first real experience with snow in Portland –- I must admit a little different than our usual experiences with snow in Philadelphia.
If you were at Federation’s Campaign Kick-Off Event in November, you may remember me saying that Portland’s Jewish community will be talked about and known as the most innovative and exciting Jewish community in the country.

As many of us prepare for this Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers, which is projected to be the most watched television show in United States history, our eyes already seem glued to our TV sets with the news coming from the Middle East.
Ever had one of those perfect days? A day where you felt everything went well and you gained a true sense of accomplishment? Well, Wednesday was one of those days for me!
