Yesterday morning we awoke to the wonderful news that Gilad Shalit was reunited with his family after his release by his Hamas captors in Gaza, ending five years and four months in captivity.
Ouch!
Ouch! A “kick to the gut.” That may be how you felt reading about the Federation decision to cease publication of the Jewish Review effective January 1, 2012.
