To encourage people throughout the community to join together to learn about Jewish history, culture and life.

• A bridge, connecting new ideas to a vibrant Jewish intellectual and cultural scene.
IJS Funding
The Institute for Judaic Studies of the Pacific Northwest is a non-profit 501C3 organization. It is dependent on gifts and revenue generated from membership and from grants for specific programs from such organizations as the Oregon Council for the Humanities (an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities).
