This exciting opportunity is brought to the community by the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland and The Mittleman Jewish Community Center providing days of hands-on volunteer service. The Mitzvah Project/Mitzvah Makers will take place for Young Families from 10am - 12pm and NextGen (young adults ages 21-45) from 1pm – 3pm, Sunday, September 15th for Portland Backpack. We will assist Portland Backpack in packing weekend sack lunches for children and making notecards.
