Love is the Biggest Act of Resistance

Hear artist and child survivor Rosalyn Kliot's story of her parents who escaped from the Klooga concentration camp in Estonia and fell in love in the midst of the horror of the Holocaust. Rosalyn had to piece together details of their story over many years. This process of piecing her family's story echoes in her work as a collage artist, and forms her unshakable belief in living with joy and love. Rosalyn’s vibrant collage art will be in the library's display case for viewing prior to this important and uplifting talk.

Rosalyn Kliot is a member of the Next Generation group in Portland;  a member of the Speakers Bureau of the OJMCHE, a published writer and artist, and currently resides in the Pacific Northwest.  For additional information about this event, please visit the Tualatin Library website, or contact the Library.
